ACORD

PilotFish Technology is a member of ACORD, a nonprofit insurance association whose mission is to facilitate the development and use of standards for the insurance and related financial services industries. ACORD accomplishes its mission by remaining an objective, independent advocate for sharing information among diverse platforms.

Acord is also a licensee of PilotFish software, using it for their own schema management and for the ACORD TCF program. ACORD has licensed PilotFish Technology’s two flagship products, the XCS eiPlatform and eiConsole to help support their own internal Schema management. The XCS eiConsole, and its enhanced schema management tools, offers ACORD insurance-specific functionality to not only extend and manage schemas, create sub-schemas and perform schema cropping, but also offers an extremely user-friendly interface. The ACORD Testing and Certification Facility (TCF) is a live application which members, as developers, can interact with in order to test and certify their implementations of ACORD messages.

PilotFish Technology also entered into an agreement with ACORD whereby ACORD is offering and distributing PilotFish Technology’s XCS eiConsole for ACORD exclusively to its members. Offered on the ACORD website, the XCS eiConsole is the only Third Party Implementation's Tool offered by ACORD. The XCS eiConsole is a graphical Integrated Development Environment for developing, testing, deploying, managing, and maintaining interfaces. Co-branded the “XCS eiConsole for ACORD”, it offers ACORD members specific capabilities that enable the fastest, highest quality, and most cost effective means of implementing the ACORD XML standard within their respective organizations.

The XCS eiConsole is a graphical Integrated Development Environment for developing, testing, deploying, managing, and maintaining interfaces. Co-branded the “XCS eiConsole for ACORD”, it offers ACORD members specific capabilities that enable the fastest, highest quality, and most cost effective means of implementing the ACORD XML standard within their respective organizations.

Due to PilotFish's recognized expertise with the ACORD standard, PilotFish was also asked to participate in the development of the ACORD ACE program. The ACORD Certified Expert (ACE) program is a designation showing Standards implementation proficiency.

Additionally, PilotFish has worked with ACORD on its eForms initiative and a variety of other projects where our ACORD expertise has been invaluable.

IRI (Insured Retirement Institute)

PilotFish Technology is a member of IRI. IRI is spearheading an industry-backed initiative to establish a comprehensive set of standards for simplifying and improving the electronic annuity purchasing process for consumers, insurers,distributors, and regulators.

PilotFish Technology and IRI Collaborated on an integration solution specifically developed for the unique requirements of IRI implementations.

Available to the IRI membership is the XCS eiConsole for IRI/NAVA — a best-of-breed developer and business analyst's tool for developing, testing, deploying, managing, and maintaining interfaces between internal systems and external trading partners. The combination of IRI's robust standards deliverables with a powerful development tool, with capabilities specific to IRI/NAVA's XML message formats, promises to foster productivity and facilitate implementation.
