Complementary Marketing Agreement

CGI to simplify integration of its Intuitive™ Case Manager solution with PilotFish Technology's XMLife Communications Suite™ (XCS) toolset.

BUSINESS WIRE )-- June 8, 2004 CGI has signed a Complementary Marketing Agreement with PilotFish Technology. Under the terms of the agreement, CGI will be an authorized user of the XMLife Communications Suite (XCS). The addition of the XCS toolset will enable CGI to provide the insurance industry with a pre-integrated, ACORD standards based, new business acquisition solution.

Intuitive Case Manager is a web-based new business application designed specifically to address the issues and complexities of the life insurance industry. Intuitive Case Manager provides end-to-end support for the new business acquisition life cycle, including: data capture, workflow, risk assessment, underwriting and fulfillment. It supports all distribution channels, including: agent laptop, agent/partner branch office, home office or call center. Intuitive Case Manager is supplied with an integrated rules engine and a data driven screen panel generator that makes the solution highly flexible and customizable to meet a customers specific business needs.

The PilotFish Technology XMLife Communications Suite (XCS) is a set of tools and components that enable the integration of disparate systems using the ACORD TXLife/XMLife data model as a translation hub. By leveraging XCS, the Internet, Web Services and ACORD standards to integrate the systems of internal and external business partners, CGI will help their customers realize the full value of the Intuitive Case Manager application more quickly than ever before possible.
