Illinois Mutual Licenses PilotFish Technology’s

XCS eiPlatform and XCS eiConsole

ACORD XML interfaces are now quick, easy, and elegant

(Eworldwire)--June 20, 2006 PilotFish Technology is pleased to announce that Illinois Mutual Life Insurance Company has licensed and implemented the XCS eiPlatform and XCS eiConsole to support the development and deployment of several e-commerce interfaces. Illinois Mutual is the eighteenth company in the last nine months to license the XCS eiPlatform and one of several companies recently selected by PilotFish Technology to participate in the beta testing of its soon to be released, XCS eiConsole. The XCS eiConsole was used to implement the Commission Statement Transmittal ACORD TxLife 1206 interface to BISYS Life Insurance Services and the MIB Request, Response, and Update interface to MIB, Inc.

We were able to install the software, configure, and deploy, several ACORD XML interfaces into production with less than 10 person-days of support from PilotFish”.

Using this tool, we now have the expertise necessary to web service enable our mainframes and seamlessly integrate with third parties over the Web”.

The XCS eiPlatform is a Java framework deployed to an application server to support the runtime integration of disparate systems using common XML standards.

The XCS eiConsole is the developer’s complement to the XCS eiPlatform. It is a graphical Integrated Development Environment to enable the development, deployment, management, and maintenance of interfaces either running on, or to be run on, the XCS eiPlatform.
