    Charset Conversion

    The XCS eiConsole Supports Character Set Conversions for EBCDIC and Base 64 Encoding and Decoding (Input & Output)

    With the eiConsole's support for EBCDIC and Base 64 Encoding and Decoding there are 4 options for Character Set Conversions. As with all the components of the eiConsole the user is presented with a graphical interface with easy to configure panels. The options for these Character Set Conversions are:

    1. EBCDIC (Input) – Conversion of EBCDIC data to ASCII data
    2. EBCDIC (Output) – Conversion of ASCII data to EBCDIC
    3. Base64 (Input) – Base64 encoded data into plain text data
    4. Base64 (Output) – Plain text data into Base64 encoded data
