The XCS Product Profile for Annuites provides comprehensive support

* Product profile data may be input directly into the XCS PPfA application database or imported from contract administration systems, product development systems or any other offline/on-line data capture system.

* Non-ACORD compliant source data is easily transformed to ACORD XML using the XCS Transform component.

* Data entry forms are generated dynamically from the ACORD schema definition. The forms include built-in error checking and drop down selection boxes for ACORD typecodes simplifying the data entry process.

* Your IT department can select any of the popular relational databases including DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, or ACCESS as the XCS PPfA application database. The database is generated in minutes from the ACORD model using the XCS Database Generator tool.

Future releases of the ACORD standard can be supported in minutes using the XCS Database Upgrader tool to apply changes in place without requiring any data conversion whatsoever.

• Any Product Profile data in the XCS PPfA application database can be output and shipped to any partner at the click of a button. The information is output as ACORD XMLife/TXlife and can be sent as an http post, a file or an email with an XML attachment. New XMLife/TXlife output profiles can be created in minutes using a point and click graphical tool included with the application.

• The XCS PPfA application also allows PPfA data to be sent to non-ACORD compliant business partners. The XCS Transform component allows ACORD XML to be transformed to the proprietary format of the recipient. Different versions or interpretations of the ACORD standard are easily accommodated as well as more traditional file formats.
