SSH Transport

The eiConsole and eiPlatform Support Encrypted FTP Over SSH or SFTP

The eiConsole supports Encrypted FTP over SSH or SFTP. As with all the components of the eiConsole, the user is presented with a graphical interface with easy to configure panels. To configure this Transport, select the Encrypted FTP (SSH/SFTP) option from the Transport Type drop-down.

On the Credentials tab, the User name and Password are the same as in the FTP Transport. These are the User name and Password to be used to connect to the FTP server. In addition, you will have the Use key file configuration item. When checked you can provide a key file.

This is a key store or certificate to be used when authenticating to the FTP server.
