Zip / Unzip
The eiConsole’s Compression & Decompression Processor Allows Data coming in from an Adapter to be Decompressed from a Compressed Form or Data to be Compressed Prior to Sending It
The user of the eiConsole can perform Compression and Decompression (GZIP, TAR, ZIP) with this Processor. There are many instances where data coming in from a Listener needs to be decompressed from a compressed form (example: batch file FTP with millions of records). Similarly, data may need to be compressed before sending it to an external trading partner. To accomplish this, you can use a Zip-based Processor. As with all the components of the eiConsole the user is presented with a graphical interface with easy to configure panels. From the menu, you choose either the GZIP Compression or GZIP Decompression Processor.
Then start with GZIP Decompression. Select this option from the Processor menu. Name the Processor: Decompress and hit Add. No further work is required.
For GZIP Compression, again you select this option from the Processor menu. Name the Processor: Compress and hit Add. No further work is required.
