State of Connecticut – Department of Social Services (DSS)

DSS Interfaces with Judicial State Registry

Using PilotFish software, the Department of Social Services has implemented a production interface for the Judicial State Registry. PilotFish software has been utilized by the Department of Social Services to configure an interface that imports XML files from Judicial, another CT state agency. Pilotfish software was used to facilitate the transformation of XML files to flat files, which were then routed to two different DSS services. The transformation was done based on the file content. This configuration of this interface was done nearly exclusively within the Department of Social Services.

PilotFish Client Product Quote“This marks the second use of PilotFish in a production role for the agency. It is impossible to overstate the role PilotFish in general — and Paul and Jamie in particular — played in getting this project done. I believe that absent PilotFish we’d still be months away from implementation.”

The Key components of these integration projects were:CT Dept of Social Services

  • Federal web service integration
  • WSDL
  • XML / Web Services
  • Legacy system integration
  • XSLT Data Transformation
