New Product Features & Improvements – February 2026
Core Enhancements
General Platform Improvements:
- Security hardening has been expanded through the resolution of multiple CVEs and the upgrade of several third‑party libraries to their latest stable versions. These changes improve overall platform resilience and reduce exposure to newly identified security risks.
- PilotFish libraries are now versioned individually rather than bundled exclusively into major release snapshots. This provides greater transparency, finer‑grained dependency management and improved upgrade flexibility.
- Improvements to the transaction framework ensure that listener startup errors no longer prevent the platform from initializing, increasing overall robustness and startup reliability.
- Embedded Tomcat dependencies have been removed from the EIP WAR distribution and are now limited to the eiConsole emulator, simplifying runtime deployments and reducing operational complexity.
- OGNL enhancements now allow invocation of java.lang.System.lineSeparator, improving cross‑platform portability in transformations and expressions.
Module Enhancements
EDI:
- SNIP Validation has been enhanced to more accurately reflect specifications, including proper handling of 837 SBR09 elements and the addition of Level 4 validations for 834 transactions.
- The EDI Throttled Listener now sets a com.pilotfish.IsLastBatch attribute on the final transaction of a batch, enabling clearer batch‑completion logic within workflows.
HL7:
- Improved logging of socket timeouts on the HL7 simple listener provides more detailed diagnostic information at the debug level, aiding troubleshooting and performance tuning.
AI:
- The introduction of LLM XL modules enables integration with multiple large language models and data stores, configured similarly to API XL. This allows AI‑driven workflows to be orchestrated alongside traditional integration logic, supporting advanced use cases while maintaining governance and observability.
Transaction Logging:
- Usability improvements to the Transaction Log Configuration GUI simplify administration, while support for logging multiple event types per module increases visibility into complex processing flows.
SQL:
- The Database SQL Processor now includes a Conditional Execution tab, allowing more granular control over query execution within integration workflows.
FTP:
- SFTP support has been upgraded to the Maverick Synergy library. FTP PUT operations now throw exceptions rather than warnings when errors occur, enabling more reliable retry and error‑handling workflows.
XSLT:
- Cached XSLT resources now load more efficiently, improving transformation performance in high‑volume scenarios.
HTTP:
- HTTP modules no longer assume default ports when none are specified, allowing automatic resolution of non‑standard ports and improving compatibility with diverse endpoint configurations.
PDF:
- PDF‑to‑XML conversion now automatically escapes content to prevent the generation of invalid XML documents.
eiConsole Updates
The eiConsole introduces a refreshed look and feel that improves performance, visual clarity and compatibility with newer operating systems. EV code signing has been added to meet elevated operating system security requirements and reduce installation friction.
eiDashboard Updates
The eiDashboard benefits from improved query performance and enhanced usability. Icons are now hosted directly with the application, configurable automatic user logout is supported and Transaction Logging‑based Dynamic Reports can now be configured for display on the main Dashboard page.
eiTestBed Updates
The eiTestBed front‑end has been migrated to Angular, providing a more modern and consistent user experience. Validation interfaces have been unified under a single entry point and EDI SNIP Validation is now fully supported across the platform.
Docker and Web Application Updates
Web applications have been upgraded to Angular version 20, the latest LTS release as of the end of 2025, alongside additional CVE remediation. These changes ensure continued alignment with modern front‑end frameworks and long‑term support cycles.
Together, these enhancements reinforce the PilotFish eiSuite as a secure, flexible and future‑proof integration platform, ready to support both today’s enterprise integration requirements and the rapidly evolving demands of AI‑enabled workflows.
